Beginning Monday, November 23rd, we will be hosting our second annual Winter Reading program! This program will run through January 30th and will be hosted through Beanstack.

Patrons can register on the Saline County Library’s Beanstack and complete reading goals and challenges to earn a prize. For every five days a patron reads, they will earn a badge until they read 40 days.

Patrons can also earn badges for completing activities such as making a browsing appointment and doing a table-top activity, doing a take-home craft, and attending a virtual library program.

After earning all of their badges, patrons can choose their prize. Prizes include a book, a Saline County Library water bottle, and a Saline County Library book bag.

To register for the Winter Reading program on November 23rd, visit our Virtual Challenges page and find Winter Reading Challenge. Family members can create one account and add different readers to that account. Once you’ve registered, select the Winter Reading Challenge to get started.
