Who’s Ready for Minute to Win It Tween Late Night?!
Starting TODAY (September 23rd) you can sign your 9 to 12 year-old up for our Minute to Win It Night on Friday, October 18th!
This is an event for tweens ages 9 to 12 exclusively, no younger siblings or parents allowed. We are going to have a fun night of activities and games. Here are some facts that you probably want to know:
Date: October 18th, 2019
Time: 6:00 PM-8:30 PM
Location: The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton, Arkansas- downstairs
Drop Off: 6:00 PM (The doors will close at 6:15 so it’s important to be here on time).
Pick Up: 8:30 PM (No early dismissals; if you come, you’re agreeing to stay the whole time).
Parents: There are several staff members who will be present during the Minute to Win It Night with the purpose of making sure everyone has a good time. Parents will not be allowed to stay in the building during the event. Don’t forget to come back at 8:30 and pick up your kid. Please feed your child before the event. We will have a small snack but no dinner will be provided. Snack includes pretzels, gold fish, gummy worms, skittles, and marshmallows. If there are any allergies, please speak with Jessica when signing up your child and note it in the contract.
What to wear? Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing you can move in. This will be an active late night.
What will we do: This is a fun game night. We will be completing different Minute to Win It challenges and competing against our friends! Remember this is a late night event; you won’t be able to use the computer, check out books, or have access to the whole library. We will have a small snack, but not dinner so feed your tweens before they come.
More questions? Call the library and ask for Jessica, the Tween Librarian, at 501-778-4766 or email JessicaH@salinecountylibrary.org
Contracts must be returned by October 11th in person at the library. You can also pick them up at the children’s desk in Benton.
