Supply Swap
The Saline County Library will host a supply swap for the public on Saturday, February 4th at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. This is the perfect event to help you reorganize your art supply closet and declutter instead of throwing out your unused/ unwanted supplies, donate and swap them for new-to-you supplies.
We’re looking for unused canvases/canvas boards no larger than 16 x 20, markers, pens, acrylic paints, blank journals, bullet journals, sketch books, washi tape, stickers, watercolor paints, specialty papers, planners, cards and envelopes, notepads, colored pencils, pastels, glitter, sticky notes, stencils, yarn, fabric, felt, knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery hoops, palette knives, etc. This is not an exhaustive list. All donations must be clean, unused or gently used, and in secure containers or resealable bags.
Those who donate supplies will have early admission the day of the event at 10:00 AM. Please register to donate materials at www.SalineCountylibrary.org/events Non-donors will be allowed into the swap starting at 11:00 AM. This is a registered event.
All event participants are encouraged to bring donations of single-serving foods in easy-to-open packaging and travel-sized toiletries for our Community Pantry. A full list of item suggestions is available at www.SalineCountyLibrary.org/pantry.
