We are so excited to welcome Lauren to the Saline County Library as the new Shelver in Benton! Lauren has a ton of volunteer experience at Arkansas Children’s Hospital including being an Ambassador and a member of the Youth Advisory Council.

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation! Imagine being able to go anywhere at any time just like that. It would be so useful.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

Playing Minecraft, and theorizing about video games and web series.

What’s the strangest talent you have?

Don’t know if this is strange enough or not, but I’ve always been really good at not getting scared easily. Also, pretty good at certain video games.

Are you a cat person or a dog person (or other)?

Dog person!! I have my own at home. Her name is Kona and she is a black lab golden retriever mix!
