We are looking for local businesses to participate in the Library Card Sign-Up Month promotion in September. Sponsorship positions are full, but we will be accepting participants until August 15^th.

Last year, our Library Card Sign-Up Month promotion received national recognition by winning the most prestigious library public relations award, the John Cotton Dana Award. Our marketing team traveled to Washington D.C. to receive the plaque and $10,000 award. We plan to use that $10,000 to make library resources and materials more easily accessible to outermost areas of Saline County.  

Over 60 local businesses offered discounts for showing your library card in 2018 and this year, we’re ready for even more!

Participating in Library Card Sign-Up Month is free and you get to choose the discount your business will offer. In exchange for your customized discount, we will feature your logo on numerous promotional items around Saline County. Your logo will be on 4,000 flyers that are handed out around Saline County, on banners in both library branch lobbies during September, featured in the library magazine and given two social media shout-outs in September on our social media pages.

Your logo will be seen by thousands of people every week as the library has almost 1,000 people in our buildings daily and reach over 15,000 people on Facebook each week.
