Summer Reading at the Saline County Library starts on Monday, June 3rd. All ages can enjoy age-specific programs weekly each library branch: Bob Herzfeld in Benton, Mabel Boswell in Bryant, and the East End branch. 

It’s easy to participate and so much fun! To register, visit www.SalineCountyLibrary.org/SummerReading and click the big yellow button. The challenge does not officially begin until June 3rd. You may pre-register to receive your reading passport tracker via email on June 3rd.  

Participants can come into any library location starting Monday, June 3rd to pick up a paper reading passport to track their reading.  Bring passport trackers back to any library branch to redeem a prize. Readers will be given prizes after completing days 10, 25, and 40 of Summer Reading.  

Adults, ages 21 years and older, who finish reading 40 days can be entered to win a one-week camper rental from Suite Spot Camper and Pontoon Rentals. The drawing will take place on July 29th and the winner will be notified by email or phone.
