We are so excited to welcome Amanda back to the Saline County Library as our new Public Services Manager! Amanda was previously the Youth Services Manager from 2016-2018 and since then, she’s produced and narrated audiobooks and hosts her own podcast!

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

I would definitely choose the ability to shapeshift like Mystique from the X-Men or Tonks from Harry Potter. It would make my cosplay hobby SO MUCH EASIER.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

Oh geez … I host a podcast about Young Adult books called Fictional Hangover and do book character cosplay to go along with each episode. That’s ridiculously nerdy if you ask me.

What’s the strangest talent you have?

Does cosplay count? I can also make anything out of paper or pipe cleaners.

Are you a cat person or a dog person (or other)?

I am a cat person 1000%.
