We are so excited to welcome Jordan to the Saline County Library as the new Tween Librarian in Benton! She earned her Elementary Education degree from SAU and is finishing up her Master’s in Library Science.

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation or mind reading! I’ve missed being in Arkansas so I’d love to just blink and be wherever I want to be with my friends and family. Mind reading would make life easier (if I could turn it on and off). That way, I’d be able to understand exactly what people needed without me having to ask a million questions to understand.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

I play D&D with friends every Friday via Discord. I enjoy watching anime, let’s plays on YouTube, and my three favorite Sci-Fi shows: Stargate, Star Trek and Star Wars.

What’s the strangest talent you have?

I don’t think any particular talent I have is strange. I’d say I’m just a little strange all around. Maybe being able to quote nearly entire favorite movies?

Are you a cat person or a dog person (or other)?

Dog person, for sure. I’m slightly allergic to cats. However, I’ve been told I have a more cat like personality.
