We will be hosting our 2021 Summer Reading Program online using Beanstack again this year!

This year’s Summer Reading theme, Tails and Tales, will center around exploration of life around us as we find out what’s special about so many of the animals who live with us on Earth. Register your Beanstack account and then sign up for the age appropriate Summer Reading 2021 Challenge. Or, you can stop by the library starting June 7th to register in person.

Starting June 7^th, participants can register for challenges based on their ages. For each challenge you complete, you will receive a badge and the more badges you get, the closer you get to winning prizes! Participants will also be put into weekly drawings by age group. All registrants will also be entered to win tickets to the Wild Wilderness Drive-Through Safari in Northwest Arkansas, including a one-night stay in a nearby hotel.

For completing day 10, you will receive a Summer Reading-themed hat. For day 25, you will receive a Summer Reading 2021 t-shirt and for day 40, adults will get a Summer Reading-themed book bag and youth will get books.

We will also be hosting weekly programs for each age group with a mixture of Facebook live and pre-recorded video programs, and private Zoom calls to allow children and their families to interact with our librarians. A select few programs will also be in-person, outdoors. The full schedule is as follows:
