We are excited to offer a new service: Books by Mail!
Books by Mail service is designed for patrons that live too far from the branches to drive and pick up materials.
The pilot program will be available until January 1, 2021. With the pilot program, all delivery fees are waived. This is first come first served and the maximum number of patrons able to participate is 30. Patrons will still be responsible for either paying the postage to return the books or returning the items in the book drop boxes at the Bryant or Benton library branches. After January 1, 2021, patrons who sign up for the Books by Mail service agree to pay the delivery fees to and from the library for the materials delivered by mail.
Please note that at this time Books by Mail is only for printed books.
You must have an active Saline County Library card and be in good standing in order to participate in this service. If you have fines or need to check the status of your card, call 501-778-4766. If you need a library card, you can apply for one here.
If you would like to receive your Saline County Library materials through the Books by Mail service, please fill out this application form. Once completed, a librarian will review your application and you will be notified if your application is approved. If you are not sure which books you would like, please visit our Pocket Librarian page to have a specialized librarian create a list for you. Requesting Pocket Librarian service will delay the mailed materials.
