I am tremendously excited to announce that this fall the library is hosting a special six-week musical storytime led by children’s musician Virginia Ralph, aka Möm of Mömandpöp! 

If you were lucky enough to see Mömandpöp perform this summer at the library, then you know what a joyful, fun energy Virginia brings to the stage. I loved their performance so much that I asked her if she would ever consider doing a music class similar to Music Together or Kindermusik and she said yes! She developed this series with energetic preschool aged children in mind. Highly interactive musical storytelling that combines creative movement, original and traditional songs, and stories that will capture children’s imagination!

Virginia worked in children’s theater for 15 years before joining forces with her husband Bobby to form Mömandpöp. They have won two Parent’s Choice silver honor awards for their CDs “Mömandpöp” and “Look Closer.”

If you cannot make it to this special series, we have an awesome music based storytime every Friday morning at 10:30 called Let’s Get the Rhythm at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library.
