The Saline County Library will be hosting a Stand-Up Comedy Night on April 1, 2022 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Benton branch located at 1800 Smithers Drive.

 Saline County residents ages 18 and up are invited to show off their comedic skills to a live audience in honor of April Fools’ Day. Each contestant will have five minutes to share their hilarious skit, with hopes to be the crowd favorite. The winner will be voted on by the audience and will receive a one-of-a-kind trophy and $50 gift card.

“This is a great opportunity to have fun and pretend to be like your favorite comedian,” said Mason Newberry, Adult Programmer. “Especially now, everyone needs a few laughs and a night to not worry about the world for just a little while.”

Up to 15 adults can sign up to be one of the aspiring comedians participating in the event. The audience seating will hold up to 30 members.

This event is for adults only. Children will not be permitted in the building.
